Why Trailblazer
Why should I choose Trailblazer over other home inspectors?
We take our time and never rush an inspection. Every inspection includes a detailed, photo-rich report, clear communication, and a personal walkthrough so you can better understand the home’s condition. We’re veteran-owned and built on trust, integrity, and precision.
Why should a buyer consider a home inspection?
A home inspection helps protect you from costly surprises, reveals hidden issues, and provides helpful information before closing. Our goal is to help you understand exactly what you’re buying so you can move forward with confidence.
What exactly does Trailblazer Home Inspections do?
We provide detailed, unbiased home inspections covering the home’s major systems and components, from roof to foundation, so you have a clear understanding of the property’s condition.
Do you charge extra for a walk-and-talk consultation?
No. We encourage buyers to walk through the home with us, ask questions, and gain real insight during the inspection at no additional cost.
Do you charge more for older homes?
No. Whether the home is new or over 100 years old, our pricing is based on square footage, not age.
Inspection Process
How long does a home inspection take?
Most inspections take 3–4 hours, depending on the home’s size, age, and condition. We use that time carefully to provide a thorough inspection.
Should I be there during the home inspection?
Yes. We encourage buyers to attend whenever possible. Walking the home with your inspector gives you the opportunity to ask questions, see findings firsthand, and better understand the property.
What areas of the home do you inspect?
We inspect all major components: Roof, attic, insulation, foundation, basement, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, windows, doors, and interior finishes. We also operate built-in appliances and test accessible fixtures.
Reports & Findings
What happens if you find problems?
Every home has issues. We help you understand what’s minor, major, or safety-related so you can plan repairs, request further evaluation if needed, or negotiate with confidence.
When will I receive my inspection report?
In most cases, you’ll receive your digital inspection report the same day, complete with photos and clear summaries.
Do you offer any guarantees?
Yes. Every qualifying inspection is backed by InterNACHI’s Buy-Back Guarantee.
