From Air Force to Home Inspector

20+ Years of Precision, Accountability, and Leadership

Before founding Trailblazer Home Inspections, I served over 20 years in the United States Air Force, where precision and accountability weren't just values—they were the job. From aircraft maintenance to the Inspector General's office, I learned to catch what others miss and to document findings with total accuracy. That discipline is the foundation of every inspection I perform today.

My time as General Manager of a local plumbing company also taught me something important—not just about how homes work, but about how the industry treats the people who own them. I saw firsthand how easy it is for a business to view customers as transactions instead of neighbors, and I knew that wasn't the kind of company I wanted to build.

When I founded Trailblazer Home Inspections, integrity wasn't a talking point—it was the entire reason the company exists. Every report I write and every recommendation I make is guided by one question: what would I want to know if this were my own home?

My Mission: Trailblazer Home Inspections was built to provide detailed, honest inspections that give you clarity and confidence. I believe in taking the time to do the job right—never rushed, never confusing, and never shortcut.

How Trailblazer Home Inspections Stands Apart

Most inspectors follow minimum standards. We go beyond them in the areas that matter most.

Not every inspector follows the same process — these reflect common industry minimums vs. what's included in every Trailblazer inspection.
